How to purchase one (or more) of the Family Protection Coverage package?

1. Log in to your Rewire account. If you don’t have a Rewire account yet,

2. Click on “Family Protection Coverage” on the main menu, and choose the coverage you are interested in purchasing. Follow the instructions to complete your coverage purchase.

3. Once you complete the payment, you’ll receive a policy activation link and voucher code via SMS and email. Add the personal details of the family member you purchased coverage for.

Who can be covered?

Anyone whose country of residence is the Philippines. According to these age limits:

  • Covid-19 Coverage : 15 days – 60 years old
  • Dengue Fever Coverage: 1 day – 70 years old
  • Personal Accidents Coverage: 18 – 70 years old

What is included in the Covid-19 coverage
  • Up to ₽ 15,000 medical reimbursement for in – patient treatment in any case of hospitalization due to Covid-19 and other bacterial and viral infections such as Bronchitis, Gastritis, Gastroenteritis, Pharyngitis, Urinary Tract Infections, Sinusitis, Tonsillitis, Upper Respiratory Tract Infection, Amoebiasis, Cellulitis, Pneumonia, Typhoid Fever.
  • Up to ₽ 15,000 burial cash assistance due to Covid-19 only (on top of the other benefits)
  • Up to ₽ 15,000 one – time payment for accidental death and/or permanent disablement.
  • Up to ₽ 15,000 medical expenses reimbursement that results from bodily injuries from an accident or assaults the Insured person shall require treatment by a legally qualified physician or surgeon, confinement in a hospital, or employment of a licensed nurse

How can I submit a claim?

You can submit a claim through the Igloo portal. After you purchase coverage and activate it you and your covered family will be given a personal link to the portal.

  • Rewire is not acting as insurer, broker or advisor.
  • Rewire will not have any obligations in relation to the coverage towards Rewire customers, the insured and the beneficiaries. It is the sole responsibility of the Rewire customer to inform the insured and the beneficiaries of important notices or events in relation to the coverage.
  • The insurers are PGA Sompo Insurance Corporations and The Mercantile Insurance Co., and this program is supported by Igloo (Axinan PTE. LTD.) as the insurer digital solution provider.
  • In case a Rewire customer wants to purchase coverage, please refer to the following website 
  • In case an insured or beneficiary wants to claim, please refer to the links provided to you following your voucher purchase.
  • Rewire is not required to refer to a new insurer, if this program ends. It is the customer’s own responsibility to find another insurer for new coverage.
  • The cost of the voucher will be paid out of the Rewire customer’s account with Rewire, for which the customer expressly gives its consent.
  • If the balance in the Rewire’s customer’s account is not sufficient to pay the cost of the voucher, then the voucher will not be executed and there will be no coverage.
